Happy Burns Night

by

Nobody does it better. Forty seconds in:

I been sick, my baby’s pulled an Amy Winehouse, and the IRS is pecking at my liver. Otherwise it’s all sunshine and lollipops.

My Burns dinner is an adaptation. Good wild salmon, that’s a bit o Scotland. Curried cauliflower and kale; if you squint it could be haggis. Young, wild grass-fed haggis maybe.

And a not so wee bit of Talisker. Slainte!

Oh yeah, and I’m pretty sure my phone has been tapped, and very clumsily too which is what one would expect around here.

I would not have believed this a year ago, but in the intervening months it has been admitted in court that my friend’s was tapped in a phony drug investigation, and that the evidence or excuse for it was obtained from a source – possibly another tap, they won’t say – just down the road a piece from me.

Looks awful clean for the Barrowlands. We’d have to smell it to be sure.
