Orange County hijacking ends peacefully

By artemis54

A sea lion hijacked an Orange County Sherriff’s Department fireboat. Full story at the OCSD blog.

He had been apprehended on a charge of annoying some humans. The deputies intended to haul him out to sea and dump him overboard, but he had other plans, so he took over the foul weather steering station and overrode the controls.

The deputies managed to get back to shore, where the sea lion went overboard and posed on the dock for his photo op.

Vdeo below the fold.

He’s checking out our location on the GPS.
